Once upon a time a young man named Bingyi decided to start up his own oil shop with wholesale oil purchased from Din Mei Oils. To show his appreciation to his first boss at Heng Tai Fung, he named his new store Din Tai Fung and the rest, as they say, is history. 40 years on, there are Din Tai Fungs all over Asia, dispensing signature xiao long baos (steamed pork dumplings) and steamed chicken soup to a legion of fans. Always freshly made and of a great standard.
