Fat Belly Steakhouse lays out its store for couples and small groups while focusing its attention squarely on secondary cuts of beef. Black Opal Wagyu is a speciality served with sautéd thyme mushrooms, charred broccolini and creamed kale. If that doesn't grab you, the truffle fries may fare better, while tiramisu and Basque burnt cheescake will hit the spot if you've got a sweet tooth. For starters there's a decent charcuterie board, alongside baked Camembert and heirloom tomato salad. Wash it all down with a full bodied Shiraz Cab Sauv blend or a peppery Cotes du Rhone.
