PS.Cafe offshoot and a popular stamping ground for the good denizens of Dempsey Hill. Understandably popular for easy-going lunches and convivial dinners, the menu offers an extensive range of Anglo-Chinese classics together with some funky twists, and decent-sized portions. While you decide why not order some spicy sesame edamame or prawn toasties to keep the wolf from the door, before settling into satay sticks, chargrilled octopus or carsu korubata belly with a fresh green mango pickle, all done to a good standard. For mains , try the fresh crab omelette or the soft shell crabs served with the chilli dipping sauce. Popular too are the smokey sweet and sour pork collar served with a fresh pineapple compote and the pork ribs slow-braised and wok-fried in house chilli sauce, served with a green mango salad. Any tips from regulars? Don't miss the Chopsuey chilli jam prawns, the honey ginger chicken or the crispy duck pancakes. For dim sum, take your pick form traditional har gao, orange duck dumplings and seared prawn and spinach dumplings. Crispy lobster wantons and flakey char siew puffs are highlights too. And wash it all down with a glass or two of Kiwi Sauvignon or Argentine Malbec. relaxing and lush colonial garden setting, featuring both indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
