Pretend you're in Venice at this lovely little Italian in a two-storey old shop house on Kandahar Street where the same homemade small plates (not too small) will be presented with warmth and feeling. For many the authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas will be the star turn, but don't overlook excellent pasta and a range of specials like endive salad
with parma ham, anchovies, dates and parmigianno or sea trout gently pan-fried with cucielo vermouth, butter, capers, lemon and chickpeas. It's an urbane space, just perfect for sipping a glass or carafe of Fiano, Falanghina or Freisa - all at reasonable prices. First-rate front of house team completes the happy picture.
