Nestled in the historical centre of Tanjong Pagar, Celebrating Southeast Asian cuisine, this modern, elegant restaurant by chef-owner Hafizzul Hashim exudes style and quiet luxury. But it has integrity and focus too. The kitchen offers a playbook of Southeast Asian flavours, mainly from the Malay peninsula, often prepared with ancient cooking methods but always embellished with a touch of modern refinement. Chef Hafizzul’s love for cooking was cultivated at a young age when he would go fishing and camping in the wild with his father, foraging for ingredients and preparing rustic delights. His travel of course continued, educating his palate along the way, but chargrilling and smoky flavours remain close to his heart.
