Inspired by colonial-era pavilions, LeBar is a swanky paradise of plush furnishings, tall ceilings and herbaceous views across tropical gardens dominated by a grand ornamental pond and its fountain. Sandwiches might include roast duck and cucumber or Sichuan prawn, alongside cakes, tarts and macaroons, but come the evening these are forgotten in favour of bespoke cocktails and live music.
