High praise pours in for Tanjong Beach Club that occupies a prime stretch of beach in sun-kissed Sentosa. With the aim of bringing the indoors outdoors, and vice versa, the beach club harks back to the seaside homes of yesteryear, with its modernist styling and maritime influences. During the week it's a sancturary away form the metropolitan angst despite being just a short cab ride.
Once the weekend arrives the club becomes a carefree pleasure palace allowing its guests to kick-back and enjoy the escapism. Chill out and make a day of it, starting with brunch. On the menu: acai bowl, seasonal fruit or smashed avo on sourdough toast, alongside smoked salmon on toasted brioche or crunchy brioche french toast. Wash it down with a Fritz Haag Mosel Riesling or William Fevre Chablis, Aix by the magnum if you're a group or Whispering Angel if you're a duo. Alternatively there are copious smoothies, Mai Tais or tropical daiquiris.
