Instagram-friendly this is not, but dating with a difference, it most certainly is. Leave your phone (and vexatious watch) with the staff and immerse yourself in a world of darkness – there’s no mood lighting here. This concept restaurant will play on all the senses as you are served a range of flavours, aromas, temperatures and textures and left to figure out for yourself what you’re eating. Even if you can’t guess, you’ll be let into the secret at the end of the meal, when that tangy, crunchy sensation during your starter will become a lot clearer. Partially sighted staff will be on-hand to assist you during the meal and, in a clever twist, you’ll be asked what you think you’ve eaten in the lounge afterwards, prior to the big reveal – great fun if you're dining as a group. Wine and cocktail flights add to the experience, the latter designed to get you in the mood when you congregate in the lounge area at the start of the journey.
