This sleek, confident neighbourhood jewel delivers on all fronts, sending guests home in raptures The food is "incredible", the atmosphere "amazing" and staff know precisely how to give their guests a great time. As a results you can "allow the staff to take away the menu and surprise you with their favourites".

A meal might kick off with burrata and fresh tomato salad or croquettes in either the ham version or a meltingly rich and earthy mushoom and truffle exemplar. Tuna tartar with guacamole is a signature while grilled octopus is made even more delicious with crispy pork belly and potato foam. Meanwhile miso black cod is served with 'mojo' and anchovy and can be washed down with a glass of cava or a peachy but dry Albarino, followed by a good selection of reds from Priorat or Rioja. You can of course go international with bottle of Bordeaux of a John Duval 'Entity' shiraz. "Not cheap" say the locals "but perfect for a special celebration".
